Ft Lauderdale Boat Show Pictures 2012
This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. Quick hint for those of you planning on visiting the show next year, don't fall for the $20-$25 dollar parking along the way to the show, as soon as you get into the port area there is $6 parking inside of a garage owned by the convention center on the left.
I was very excited to see what Mako would bring out to the show but this year they chose not to participate. They aim their advertising costs towards the Miami Beach Boat Show it seems. I think this was against better judgement as the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show attracts attendees with enough play money to spend on their toys.
Nor-tech boats brought out a beautiful center console with a fully powdercoated t-top.
How about 4 300+HP Yamaha's sitting on the back ready to ride? This was the view from the Hydra-Sports setup.
Mercury's new 150HP Outboard (NON-SUPERCHARGED) showing its guts.
Riva Motorsport's brought out the new Yamaha FZS in yellow.
Kawasaki's 300X and Seadoo's 3 seater side by side
The show this year had a pretty decent turnout. We were able to cover the inside and outside show in a period of around 4 hours. During mid day when hunger set in, we took a bus over to the outside yacht area and had lunch at Sonic's Beach. Great food and an even better price. Not to mention the breathtaking view!
Midnight Express control panel, can it get any better?
Beauty from the outside!
This was in the outside parking area in the Yacht section. Looks like it belongs inside of a museum instead of the water.
Lamborghini brought out this gold wrapped example for all to see. This was the talk of the show.
Iguana Yachts brought out this interesting example.
Your's truly inside of the new Bentley GT.
