Beautiful Ocean during midweek...

When an opportunity arises to spend time in the ocean... you take it. Beautiful scenes.

Mountain Biking Markham Park!

A few of us decided to hit up Markham park to do some bike riding. A bit different from the ocean adventures I'm usually posting about but still a lot of fun. Camera was front mounted on a fender of a Specialized so it may be a bit shaky!

Seatbelts are important!

Always wear your seat belt's! Joan and Jose go for a ride.

Alligator adventures with the crew!

Since we hit the water just the other day the crew and I decided to go somewhere interesting, everglades national park! 15 miles of bike riding and of course some speed thrown into the mix.

Yamaha FZR... Reliability!

Taking a break during the week to hit the water for a bit! Definitely will be converted to brushless very soon!

10.7.2012 Jet Ski Adventures

Today I went out with a few friends. We hit the water around 10am and proceeded to head down to Miami through the ocean yet staying close to shore and the beaches. The inlet was full of fun to jump rollers extending out from one side of Haulover inlet to the another. Our inlet gets a little bit rough but if you hug the south or the north jetty it becomes a lot easier. Every week we witness 17FT boats trying to run out through the center of it all and they all come close to capsizing. Usually novice boaters with not much real ocean experience. This was also a great opportunity to remove all of the badges on Dairon's FZS so we proceeded to do that on the water. It looked like a pit crew was doing the work, everyone grabbed a side and got to work. A lot better than having dealer stickers all over the boat and the Yamaha brand plastered all over your new toy. We cruised by Viscaya, the Key Biscayne Lighthouse, and South Beach checking out the sights. The Regatta was going down in Elliot key so that kept most of our sandbars pretty clean. We managed to hit some nice rain on this ride as well! Dolphins decided to surround us on one part of the passage and kept following alongside as we rode on. I guess they know that there is no external prop and we do not cause any harm to them like most boats. Besides, dolphins are naturally nosy animals and constantly trying to explore their surroundings. Anyways, enjoy the video!!!!! The video was filmed using Olympus Stylus waterproof camera's as well as a Contour HD for jumping footage.

10/6/2012 Trail Riding

Louis and I decided to hit the trails today and do some mountain biking. I know you guys from up north are laughing right now since Miami is pretty much flat! We do what we can LOL We took the Specialized Enduro and the Specialized Rockhopper and decided to have some fun. As Louis would say "Angry music on the iphone, I'm ready!" Just a couple of pictures that I was able to take with my phone. We brought lots of much needed water. We ended up doing a few intermediate trails and a few expert trails. Definitely tiring. Just a few pics.

A Run from the Sun....

The Last Days of Summer Part II

"The Last Days of Summer" is now here in part 2. This is filmed in Miami, Florida. We took some friends along to check out the Fowey Rocks Lighthouse and the Arratoon Apcar wreck which occurred in 1978. This large ship ran aground on the reef during the building of the Lighthouse itself. There is not much left in the area but there is an abundance of fish species. We were constantly surrounded by them no matter which direction we headed. We threw anchor between both of these locations and proceeded to do some filming. All filming was done on Olympus Stylus Tough underwater camera's. The quality is 720P HD but was reduced for online play and streaming.
